We also provide building automation to industrial, commercial and institutional clients helping them control the cost of energy and facility operations.

The company was founded as James L. Day Company in 1976.  In 1994, the company was purchased by Eastern Utilities; a Boston based utility company and renamed EUA Day.  January 1, 2000 the company was purchased by a group of original managers and became Day Automation Systems.

We have expanded our offerings to include Security, Building Access Control and Digital Video Surveillance.

We have a reputation for providing high quality feature rich systems that translate to a high level of customer satisfaction.  Our Customer for Life philosophy coupled with an expertise in systems integration makes us the vendor of choice for our customers.

As we have expanded, we have hired the best qualified people to build a high quality performance driven group that brings the same level of customer satisfaction to the expansion technology that we have enjoyed in the building automation business.

The company employs approximately 80 people statewide with offices in Victor, Elmira, Syracuse and Albany.  We have installed systems in more than 800 non residential buildings.
